Great
The flower I made looks like a pokemon ball :3
I’m new to asset creation, is there any way I can do this and also have bevel on my normal map? I want to fake bevels on the model like sunset overdrive devs did
So far an awesome course, I'm completely hooked!
This is too cool. From here, everyone's project will start to differ.
TOP!!!! Je vais utiliser tout ça maintenant!!
Absolutely incredible video and fantastic presentation! Good work to both the people who made the nodes and the presenter!
Thanks for your feedback!
Fantastic tutorial! Thanks
realy? 4 nodes at year? what reason buy designer? Adobe developers to lazy.
This series has been really fantastic, except that after a few videos, things started speeding up and I was getting lost between all of the nodes and the back and forth on the graph. It is certainly a kindness to show such a lengthy process, but for the future I would make the recommendation of slowing down throughout the entire series if it is aimed at beginners. Onto the next video! ❤
Thank you for your feedback - your suggestion help us improve to ensure everyone can follow along more easily. We look forward to seeing you in the next video!
No one understand your english 😂
Great. It is already feeling like a fabric
Great
Thank you!!! Amazing tutorial,amazing work
I ask the obvious question: How can I use that stylization in Painter? 😁
Still no "non overlapping scatter" node?
Your voice is just pleasant to ears!
Hello, will there be an update to version 14.0 also in the steam version please?
This doesn't explain how to properly import an object with udims. It assumes that much has been done correctly. Major flaw of tutorial.
Slope Blur: Finally, a worthy opponent!
Worth pointing out that the leaf directly behind the far headphone housing is sharper - I'm guessing because your GenAI image has no sense of depth?
Your tutorials and presentation skills are second to none, way to go!! Thank you.
Love substance
Lol adobe
Awesome upgrade, this opens up a lot of possibilities!! Great video presentation too, love this format where you show many different use cases. Excellent work team!
Looks cool
amazing
hey is it availabe on SD 2024?
This guy sounds like an Anime character.
Concavity and convexity maps!!🎉❤
Great for Pixel art and Anime Style materials
Need a SD video on using this node for anime materials for sure
@@TomMAF4 Thanks for the recommendation- we'll share the request with the team!
@@Substance3D ❤️
Great. I saw some people use only normal and dont connect the height map to the Unreal engine material.
Quite interesting functions, thanks for showing. However, I want to note that SD stopped developing rapidly after being bought by Adobe.
not only sd, but sp too P.S. I generally understand that companies need to stagger updates so that people keep buying subscriptions, but lately they're adding useless crap that no one asked for, instead of what people have been requesting FOR YEARS
RIP allegorithmic
Lol, they just posted a massive upgrade. Keep in mind the product is a lot more complex now, so it will naturally take longer to add more features/refactor things. Lots of companies and users already have a stablished workflow and custom tools. Substance upgrades are always free of bugs and stable, so it’s actually good that they take the time to deliver quality stuff, rather than just adding new (half-assed/experimental) features that never get finished (like is common with unreal and unity).
@@TKEnvironments You are overly protective of Adobe. You are partially right in your statements, but that doesn't mean the program should stagnate and not develop at all. The updates they release are very small and laughable, I would even say disgraceful (compared to what they were before Adobe's acquisition). Specifically for SD, I want to say that I personally wrote a lot on the forum with requests for quite small but quality updates that users want to see in the program. For example, BASIC navigation and interface, a mini navigation window, node linking, a shelf with presets (pre-made node setups), exporting transformation data from the transform node-these things have long been present in other node-based programs like SD. These are all very simple and quality updates to implement in the program. However, they just don't care and don't do it. I no longer even dream of important features like nodes for custom code like wrangle in Houdini, because the Pixel Processor is a disgrace, an extremely clunky and inconvenient editor that hasn't evolved in 10 years.

I don't have plastic glossy pure material, where I can find it ???
thanks
Thank you!!!this video's pace is so nice for me. The learning process did not make me feel anxious and no problems occurred
Love to hear it! Have fun learning 😃
ok
Going On
Ok
Very inspiring project 🎉
which version is this?
Videos like this I consider "Missing Links." They are very effective at explaining an alien subject in a clear, concise way. I've been looking at the atlases on the CC assets page for years, but never fully understood how they worked til now. This is going to give my games and renders a whole new vibe.
This is a very well structured and informative tutorial - I've never felt comfortable using SD, always seemed the easiest of tasks were too complex, but this series clears up maaaany of these questions. And the cherry on top, we get to listen to a charming french accent while learning. J'adore!
haha, merci!
wow! i wish i would have know this sooner! would have saved me lot of time
substance is growing faster than photoshop
Very smooth introduction to the program so far. It helps to get use to it, with all the logic it has. Thank you very much
Whenever I google an issue with adobe modeler it gives me every other dimension app other than modeler. Why is it so hard to find out info on this app? Like sizes for instance, I’m trying to create something with specific dimensions and it gives me one measurement for my clay, what does that measurement apply to? Width, height, length, circumference??
I am wonder whenever i use the metal edge wear. I cant get the same effect what the video is showing.
This is f-kin awesome!
